Africans are among the worst hit with climate change related disasters, yet among the least informed. We aim to change this!
Africlime is movement that is committed to creating awareness and driving action towards climate change in Africa. With the current global climate crisis, there is an urgent need for everyone to take responsibility and work towards a sustainable future.
Our goal is to create a community of advocates for climate change action in Africa. We work to mobilize and empower people to take action on climate change through education and awareness campaigns. We believe that the more people know about climate change, the more motivated they will be to take action.
Developing countries are disproportionately affected by climate change, threatening health, security, and livelihood. For this singular reason, Africans need take climate change seriously. While being infrastructurally handicapped is bad enough, being educationally backwards is even worse. Our goal is to reach out to people, educating them on the need to be part of the conversation.

Africa's maiden Student-MP Climate Surgery, an initiative of the Global Legislators Organization for a Balanced Environment (GLOBE), was held in Nigeria in June, 2022, with students from Abuja, Abia, Rivers and Osun States coming together to have conversations on the climate crisis. The event was timed to coincide with the weeks leading to the London Climate Action Week. The event was an opportunity for these student climate activists to write their MP's to know what they are doin about the climate crisis.
