The Centre for Climate Change and Development, Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu Alike Ebonyi State, is organising a National Climate Change Competition for young Nigerian adults aged 16-35 years. The competition will be a contest across states in Nigeria.

Essay Topic: CLIMATE |CHANGE AND NIGERIA’S ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT: A LETTER TO MR. INCOMING PRESIDENT

Deadline for Submission: 22nd December, 2022

Guidelines For The Competition:

• All essays must be written in British English
• All essays must be in letter format
• The font format is 12pts, Times New Roman, 1.5 spacing
• Maximum of 1200 words, Minimum of 800 words
• All essays must be submitted on or before the deadline
• Any essay submitted after the deadline will not be attended to
• Plagiarism test will be applied, and any plagiarised work will be automatically disqualified.
• Participants name, age and educational qualification should be included on the essay.

Prizes:

• 1st Price: ₦200,000
• 2nd Price: ₦150,000
• 3rd Price: ₦100,000
